Do you have the tools, resources and expertise in place today to effectively and proactively manage your California Hazardous Materials Business Plan (HMBP) compliance obligations?

Verisk 3E Regulatory Business Development Specialist John Koning explored HMBP reporting in our Help Your Business Comply With California Hazardous Materials Business Plan Obligations in CERS webinar, now available on demand.

Jon is responsible for helping customers across the U.S. remain in compliance. His knowledge of regulatory obligations covers California hazardous materials reporting requirements as well as U.S. Federal requirements as they apply to hazardous materials and hazardous waste.

In terms of EPCRA Reporting obligations, California’s HMBP are the most complex compared to the Federal EPCRA Tier II Report as the CA HMBP requires both Hazardous Materials and Hazardous Waste to be included in the report. Even if you think the requirements do not apply to your facility, they more than likely do.

California HMBPs are regulated across the state by various Certified Unified Program Agencies (CUPA) which causes variations in reporting since each CUPA has the ability to set their own reporting thresholds and requirements.

If you have questions or need support Verisk 3E can help. We offer expert regulatory reporting services, AutoCAD map capabilities and online access to regulatory documents in our 3E Protect SDS and chemical compliance management platform.

We can do a full inventory assessment on all the hazardous materials and waste data to analyze against agency thresholds and report accurately.

Watch our webinar, now available on demand, to learn HMBP best practices and see how Verisk 3E can partner with you to fulfill your reporting obligations.
