Introduction

3E Company Environmental, Ecological and Engineering, LLC (“3E”) is committed to driving positive change. This Supplier Code of Conduct (“Code”) outlines the standards and guidelines for companies (“Suppliers”) that engage in business with 3E globally. Suppliers, including their employees and subcontractors, are expected to comply with this Code, ensuring ethical and responsible business practices in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. This Code supplements, but does not supersede, any existing contracts 3E may have with its Suppliers. Suppliers must communicate these principles throughout their own supply chain and ensure compliance at all levels.

Labor and Human Rights

Suppliers must support human rights and comply with labor laws in every country they operate. Prohibited practices include child labor, forced labor, human trafficking, and any form of involuntary labor. Workers must be employed voluntarily and have the freedom to leave their employment. Suppliers must prohibit any form of harassment or discrimination based on any legally protected characteristic, such as race, sex, gender identity, religion, age, nationality, ancestry, health status, disability, or other traits protected by applicable laws (which may vary from country to country). 3E expects its Suppliers to respect the rights of workers to join trade unions, bargain collectively, and engage in peaceful assembly.

Health and Safety

We expect our Suppliers to implement appropriate procedures, controls, and safeguards to provide a safe, secure, and healthy working environment for workers and subcontractors. Suppliers must meet applicable legal requirements and provide workers with relevant training on health and safety procedures, as appropriate.

Respect the Environment

Suppliers must uphold industry standards to reduce environmental impact and manage and reduce effects on natural resources, emissions, and pollutants. 3E expects Suppliers will source materials ethically, optimize packaging sustainability, and limit hazardous substances. Suppliers must also follow laws for products with hazardous materials or conflict minerals, and assist 3E in tracing materials’ type, origin, and custody. Suppliers are required to observe all environmental permits and reporting mandates.

Legal and Ethical Conduct

  • Suppliers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to antitrust, government interactions, anti-money laundering, anti-tax evasion, export controls, and economic sanctions.
  • Suppliers must prohibit bribery and corruption in all forms. Gifts, business entertainment, political contributions, or any advantages offered to government officials or political entities on behalf of 3E must receive prior written approval from 3E.
  • Suppliers must maintain accurate and complete records of all transactions related to their business with 3E. They must protect and respect privacy, intellectual property, Company and personal data, and ensure all dealings are transparent and documented accurately.

Whistleblower Policy

3E encourages reporting of any suspected violations of this Code, company policies, or laws through its independent Whistleblower Hotline, available online or by telephone. Reports may be made confidentially and, if preferred, anonymously, although less anonymity is encouraged for effective issue resolution.
